La Dolce Vita – The Good Life!
The dulcet summer light casts a bronze hue over a Mediterranean landscape. The smell of frying garlic drift amongst the pensive sound of an accordion wafting through the courtyard. And then – the idyllic moment is interrupted by a glitch in reality. The peaceful meets the unexpected. The Bizzarro moment. One part familiar – one part peculiar.
This series of illustrated posters were created and distribute to bars, restaurants and liquor stores to promote the Bizzarro brand. They operate as a visual postcard from where a traditional Italian liqueur intersect with its extraordinary contemporary counterpart. The imagery is an absurdist take on Italian Art Deco posters, subverting old fashioned charm with a perplexing appeal.
